BAND | |
Students can start in band in the 4th grade after Christmas. Instrumental students in grades 4-8 are required to have a lesson every week. 5th and 6th grade students also have band rehearsal once a week for 30 minutes. The High School Band consists of students in grades 7-12 that have finished their second lesson book. Students in grades 9-12 are required to attend their sectional or a lesson each quarter.
The High School Band marches at Homecoming in the fall and at Band Night in Bismarck, ND in the spring. They also play for every home football game and basketball game. Also during the year the band is involved in the Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, Region VI Contest and Pops Concert.
